How does the free trial work?
Install Velocity and every feature is unlocked for 30 days, with no card and no sign-up. When the trial ends, pick a plan and paste your licence key. Files you've already downloaded are always yours.
Does Velocity collect my data?
No. There's no account and no tracking. The browser extension talks only to Velocity on your own computer. Read our privacy policy.
Will it slow down my PC?
No. Velocity sits quietly in the system tray and uses very little memory while it waits. You can cap the speed so browsing stays smooth while it downloads.
Can I move my licence to a new PC?
Yes. Enter your key on the new PC. If you've reached your plan's PC limit, email us and we'll free up a slot.
Can I download anything from any site?
Velocity is a tool. Only download content you have the right to, such as your own uploads, Creative Commons media, or files the site lets you download. Respect copyright and each site's terms.
